This past weekend we celebrated Sam’s college graduation.

In a mother’s womb were two babies. One asked the other:
“Do you believe in life after delivery?”
The other replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery.

Society gives recognition or applause for a well-designed skyscraper or a glamorous movie star but gives little notice to parents for their work in guiding and nurturing a child’s soul.

To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better…

One by one, they then began to land on a dirt pile next to us. I counted. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven. Seven ravens sitting right next to us. At first I was a little startled and had a fearful thought, oh no– what are seven ravens doing sitting next to us? Ron said this is so cool.

Many religions use the moon cycle to set their yearly calendars. This weekend’s full moon brings a surge of energy and reminds us of spring, new beginnings, rebirth–the opportunity to contemplate, “if I was able to die and be re-born, how would I change and do it different?”

Spring brings excitement and wonder. New blooms, fresh dreams. Busy with plans and projects. Within this surge of new energy, we call on Mother Nature to keep us connected and grounded.
