60th Birthday Surprise, Language of the Soul: Fifty Two Affirmations to Guide You
My dear friend Susan, did something very unique, heartfelt and generous for her recent 60th Birthday. Instead of having a big celebration, she opted for something a little more genuine and intimate. While she did have a special small gathering celebration, she and her husband also spent the two days around her birthday to hand deliver a meaningful gift. She chose Language of the Soul, which included a hand written note, to over forty-plus friends and family.
She said, “It was quite an exciting and yet overwhelming endeavor— writing out all of the notes to explain why I felt so grateful to have these people in my life. It really gave me the chance to put the emphasis on another and feel so much gratitude through the process.”
