the modern mystic: alchemy, language of the soul

modern mystic: Alchemy.

We choose what influences us and what we engage with daily—the routines and rituals, the music we listen to, the words we read, and the company we keep. We are all alchemists, creating our life experiences. Today unfolds in relation to where we place our attention and energy.

Our inner dialogue plays a significant role in shaping our outer reality. Our inner thoughts and words vibrate our lives into existence, whether they are positive or negative. Take a moment to recall a very positive memory. It could be as simple as a sunny morning, a beautiful sunset, a heartfelt hug, or a satisfying meal. Allow this feeling to permeate you, bringing balance and peace to your present moment. You are working from the inside out.

Now, with awareness, affirm: “I am healthy, happy, and vibrantly alive.” Imagine this feeling as if it has already happened. Let this sensation radiate through you.

This language of the soul becomes the chemistry, the alchemy. The unconscious mind loves the cue; permission granted. Your dedication to self-care unfolds your soul's longing. What and where are you placing your energy? Do these places deserve to be front and center? One of my favorite Sanskrit words, drishti, resonates with me: “Where your attention goes, your energy flows.” It sounds so effortless and practical, yet this self-awareness—refining our attention to what our thoughts, words, and actions are creating in our lives—requires much perseverance.

To live unconscious of our drishiti is to allow opinions, media, a hurt feeling, or irritation to direct and confirm, to influence the direction of our life. We become a drifter…

Language of the Soul, fifty-two affirmations to guide you, is a book I wrote with a clear intention: to create a sacred guidebook that brings comfort, encourages others, and shows a clear path to uncovering one's soul essence.

Join me and become the modern mystic. Learn to speak from your soul and step forward into your beautiful new life, the one that has always been there, patiently awaiting you.
