Our main intention for The Jewelry Project is two-fold. First, to give others a talisman of Serenity. Second, to create abundance. In this place of prosperity, it feels natural and easy to help others in need.

The Mark family, a family of six, lost everything from the devastating floods of Hurricane Harvey – including their home and family vehicle. Without a vehicle, they were left with no means of transportation to work or school.

If it is true the flutter of the butterfly’s wings in the Amazon can be felt all over the planet– then so can our support of light and love for those suffering from Hurricane Harvey.

I also believe the word friendship can represent the idea of supporting those who need it most. So in celebration of and in thanksgiving for friendships of all types, my guru friend Elizabeth Irvine and I have collaborated on a special bracelet that we named the Mitra bracelet. Mitra means friendship in Sanskrit. I believe we are all here to help one another and Elizabeth and I wanted to create an object that symbolizes supportive, loving energy.

A common goal comes back to the simple message. Women want to feel beautiful. We share the belief of empowering women from the inside out. Riane has great style and understands how to help women feel beautiful. She also understands the intention and meaning behind The Jewelry Project. Women supporting women.

It is really not surprising to find out that any guy near Baton Rouge has been in his boat looking to rescue someone. The media coined these men the Cajun Navy, and this Southern state knows the word kindness as a verb. I am here to help, do you know anyone who needs to be rescued? What can I do for you?

The Jewelry Project has a life all of it’s own. When the idea of creating “jewelry with meaning” began, in all honesty I half-heartedly started the project.
